About CSSMECN
Community Children's Mental Health Support Center
Noire(C.S.S.M.E.C.N) responds to a crucial need for care for young people and parents from the black community and people of color in Canada, facing mental health challenges. Young people experience cultural shock and depressive episodes, contributing to their stigmatization and integration difficulties.
The C.S.S.M.E.C.N offers a program focused on awareness through school and community workshops, support through discussion groups and counseling specifically tailored to the culture of Black children. Artistic workshops allow the creative expression of emotions, mentoring aims to guide emotionally and academically.
